Engagement écologique et social

ECOLOGICAL COMMITMENT
Since 2018, at Tranquille Emile, all our cotton products (sweatshirts, t-shirts and polo shirts) are… 100% cotton! This cotton allows us to guarantee a premium garment without the addition of polyester or other synthetic fibers. Likewise, we favor GOTS certified organic cotton in order to guarantee the lowest possible water consumption. The dyeing of our cotton is labeled Oeko-Tex. This label guarantees that our clothes are free from chemicals harmful to health and the environment.

For wool, we know that 80% of French production is exported to China. Since the fall-winter 2019 collection, we have taken on the challenge of participating in the renewal of the French wool industry. That’s how we imagined Le Frileux, a 100% wool sweater. Coming directly from the Arles sheep, this wool is 100% French and 100% natural.

SOCIAL COMMITMENT
From the knitting of the yarns to the making, including our labels, each stage of the production of our products brings together the best French craftsmanship. Short circuits, proximity, eco-responsibility and ethics, so many commitments that make Tranquille Emile a brand truly made in France. Clothing made in France is also and above all clothing that benefits from quality know-how and the skills of certified companies. Knitted in Haute Loire (43), our hats are made in a workshop labeled Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (EPV), and our sweatshirts and t-shirts are made in Riorges (42) in a France Terre Textile company, 80% of which are small hands. are disabled.
