History and Philosophy

A-LOLA is a Swiss eco-responsible swimwear brand. If the designer favors an ethical approach, she also wants to offer her customers pieces with a modern design that are intended for all body types. The superior quality comes from the choice of materials and hand-crafting. The excellent elasticity and resistance of our products comes from a 100% recycled and recyclable nylon fiber called Econyl, which is made from plastic waste collected in the oceans. For the record, the brand logo represents a parrot multicolored with minimalist features. A tribute to the designer's grandparents who always supported her in her creativity and her projects. Her grandfather had a very special relationship with a free-ranging parrot called Lola. For the brand, the parrot symbolizes freedom, joy of living and the direct link with nature. Who is behind the brand

A-LOLA was created by Anani, a Swiss designer of Brazilian and Spanish origin who is passionate about the art of swimsuit making. After obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, she brought her dream to life by creating A-LOLA: her own swimwear brand inspired by her Brazilian origins and generated in a way that respects and protects our oceans.

Ecological and social commitment

A-LOLA swimsuits are created from a 100% recycled and recyclable nylon fiber called Econyl. This fiber is made from plastic waste collected in the oceans. The swimsuits are designed by the designer in Geneva, Switzerland, and made in Porto, Portugal, in a small Portuguese workshop. It is essential for the brand to manufacture the pieces in Europe in an ethical and ecological way.

A-LOLA makes a point of keeping customers informed of the details of the production of its swimwear. It supports the circular economy while minimizing waste of resources and environmental impact.
